SAP Labs Hungary also hosts Globalization Services, which address all aspects of implementing global business applications, including topics such as applications spanning multiple languages and time zones, encoding systems such as Unicode, global system architectures, country-specific versions and the translation of SAPs and industry applications. Globalization Services support customers in developing a coherent approach to global business, determining whether a global strategy is technically feasible and ensuring that globalization strategies meet business goals.

The Globalization Services team within SAP Labs Hungary focuses on the emerging markets in Central and Eastern Europe, with special attention to Russia. The Globalization team is already well-established and is currently implementing four different development projects at full throttle; these include the ERP localization for Kazakhstan and the IS-U localization of certain Russian projects, or the Additional Requirements for the Russia and the Republic of Austria Public Sector (RAPS) project.
